IU alumni playing in the NFL have been dealing with the injury bug in 2019. Eagles running back Jordan Howard recorded the first touchdown for former Hoosiers this season.

Tevin Coleman – San Francisco 49ers
Tevin Coleman is nursing a sprained ankle and is expected to make a return some time in October. The 49ers defeated the Steelers this week and are 3-0 on the season.
Jordan Howard – Philadelphia Eagles
Jordan Howard scored his first touchdown of the season on a one-yard run. Howard saw more balance than the two previous weeks as he received 11 carries, two shy of the team lead. Howard racked up 37 yards on the day as the Eagles lost to the Lions, falling to 1-2.
Ian Thomas – Carolina Panthers
Ian Thomas was not targeted in Carolina's victory over the Cardinals on Sunday. The young tight end did not record a statistic for the second straight week. Thomas hopes to find a role in an offense trying to adjust without quarterback Cam Newton.
Cody Latimer – New York Giants
Wide receiver Cody Latimer is dealing with a calf strain and mild concussion. Latimer was inactive during the Giants first win of the season this Sunday. Latimer hopes to be back soon as his status is currently week-to-week.
Nate Sudfeld – Philadelphia Eagles

Nate Sudfeld is recovering from a fractured wrist suffered in the preseason. He is expected to make a return in late October at the earliest.
Chris Covington – Dallas Cowboys

Chris Covington was inactive for the Cowboys this week in their win over Miami.
Dan Feeney – Los Angeles Chargers
Dan Feeney and the Chargers were outscored 20-3 in the second half in a loss to the Houston Texans at home. LA is 1-2 so far this year.
Brandon Knight – Dallas Cowboys

Brandon Knight was inactive for Dallas’ victory over the Dolphins.
Wes Martin – Washington Redskins
Wes Martin, rookie offensive guard, was inactive for Washington on Monday.
Roger Saffold – Tennessee Titans

Roger Saffold and the Titans lost an uneventful game in Jacksonville on Thursday to fall to 1-2 on the season.
Jason Spriggs - Green Bay Packers
Spriggs is currently on injured reserve.
