The Indiana Hoosiers hot June continues on the recruiting trail as Curt Cignetti and his staff picked up a commitment from 6’4”, 245-pound defensive lineman, Keishaun Calhoun.
Calhoun, a three-star prospect and the 51st best player out of Ohio according to 247Sports, plays his high school football at Groveport Madison just south of Columbus. He held 13 total offers, mainly from MAC schools and IU was his lone Power Four offer. Calhoun made an official visit to Bloomington on June 18th.
Prior to the 2023 high school football season in Ohio 270GridIron said that Calhoun made the All-270 Team. Calhoun was “first team all OCC-Buckeye a year ago, Calhoun played a crucial role for the Groveport Madison defense that allowed less than two touchdowns a game in 2022. Calhoun was disruptive no matter where he lined up and has the ability to take a huge step forward as a junior.”
This marks the Hoosiers 13th commitment in their 2025 high school recruiting class which is ranked 55th nationally.
