Hoosiers Finish 10th in Final AP of 2024 College Football Season

Just hours after the 2024 college football season came to a close with the Ohio State Buckeyes hoisting the College Football Playoff National Championship trophy, the last AP poll of the season was released. The Hoosiers finished 10th after going 11-2 (8-1) and qualified for the College Football Playoff.

This is IU’s first top-10 AP finish since 1967 and just the third time in school history (1945, 1967). IU has finished a season in the AP Top 25 seven times the last coming in 2020.

The Hoosiers spent 11 weeks ranked in the AP Top 25 this season. Five Big Ten teams finished ranked in the top 25, including three in the top five. The Hoosiers open the 2025 season against Old Dominion on August 30th at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington.
