The Indiana Hoosiers added some beef to their 2022 recruiting class when Westlake H.S. (TX) offensive lineman Bray Lynch announced that IU beat out Oklahoma State and Duke for his college decision. Lynch is a six-foot-four, 280-pound lineman who is ranked as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports Composite rankings. He played his high school football at Texas powerhouse Westlake H.S. where he helped his team win back-to-back state titles and held 14 offers.

Lynch took an unofficial visit in June to Indiana and had gained the attention of coaches when they participated in the SMU camp in early June. Hoosier coaches would have been able to work Lynch out on his unofficial visit per Big Ten rules since IU could not hold high school camps. It is safe to assume that the Hoosier coaches had seen what they wanted to out of Lynch to feel good enough to offer and take his commitment.

Lynch plays tackle at Westlake power and athleticism. He can over power defensive lineman and get to the second level in the run game. He shows good balance and has active hands. At IU, Lynch may move inside, but can play both inside or outside line positions.

Lynch is the 11th commitment for the Hoosiers in the class of 2022 which now sits at 5th in the Big Ten and 24th nationally.
