As signing day creeps closer, the Hoosiers keep the momentum rolling as 247 Sports and Rivals.com 3-star athlete Will Dawkins has committed to play his college ball for Indiana after taking his official visit to Bloomington this weekend.  Dawkins, from Vero Beach, becomes the fourth recruit in the 2014 class out of the state of Florida.

In high school Dawkins played both receiver (570 yards receiving his senior year) and defensive back (5 career interceptions), but look for him to project in the defensive backfield for the Hoosiers who need more depth and talent on that side of the ball especially after former IU commit Derrick Tindal flipped to Wisconsin last week. The 5'11" 195 lb. dynamo could also be used in the return game, as he averaged just over 23 yards per return his senior year.  If he does play on the offensive side of the ball, he could be used to spell Shane Wynn, with a little more size.

Dawkins held offers from many big time schools including the two big boys of the Big Ten in Ohio State and Michigan State.  He was recruited to IU by Brandon Shelby and Deland McCullough
