Antoine Whitner, 6’4”, 295 pounds, Bradenton, FL (IMG Academy), DT, 247Sports Composite Ranking: 3-star (85.27)

The Hoosiers look to solidify the middle of their defense as they add another big defensive tackle in Antoine Whitner. IU beat out nine other Power Five schools including Florida, Oregon, Ole Miss and Virginia Tech for his services.

Whitner played both ways on the lines for IMG Academy, but will be used on defense most likely at IU. He’s quick off the ball and can be the disrupter that the Hoosiers need on defense to continue the improvement on that side of the ball.
