I loaded up on RB's and a star QB early, so my WR corps is a little weak. Feel like I got lucky with a few bench players, though. We do one W/T Flex and one W/R/T flex, so the first seven picks are starters. Yahoo projected points says I won my league's draft.
How'd you guys do?
4th year in a row I've not played FF. The only thing I miss are the various draft parties. When I used to play, pretty successfully more often than not, I employed similar strategies to what you did. A lot would depend on PPR vs no... but feeling out my league mates, seeing what they might be valuing, and trying to stockpile high end production in 2 of the 3 main point producing positions, rather than spreading it out evenly, often worked well for me. Initial draft position would often play a role here too.

Havent played for a few years, after a 30+ year run. I do know that I wouldn’t have drafted 4 skill players from teams with no future in the first 10

At this point, I only do it because it's an excuse to keep up with some folks I knew back when I lived elsewhere. Draft day is the only day I find fun, though.
@goat how's the record at this point?
I'm in the hunt in my work league, screwed in my family league and sitting pretty in a friendly.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

4-2, tied for 3rd. And with the Bills going into a bye week, I had to make my first move, because I can't count on McCarthy playing. Gonna run with Stafford for one week.
