First, they keep raising prices.  Now, during the college football season, they're going to lose ESPN.

Yeah, that don't work for me, dog.  I'm gonna have to find something else, which sucks because I like their setup for sports.

Sling has worked well for me in the past.  They have a sports package you can add for $7 a month or so that includes B1G.

With all the different apps and streaming services, I'm almost tempted to see how much regular cable is again.

It's not a saying anymore.

@boogie is it still a thing?   I had direct tv stream for a bit. But they lost something that pissed me off.  I can’t remember.  TLC or history or something

I still have my directv dish. I switched because Youtube was cheaper and more reliable on my mobile devices. If people find other options please list them.

I agree re: watching on mobile devices. I've been a relatively long time customer of theirs, but losing all the Disney sports stuff would be the final straw for me. I'd say it's a conversative guess to say well over half of what I watch on there is some form of ABC sports/ESPN channels.

All that said, I might start shopping around anyway. I think it was like $64/month when I first signed up. I think my last bill might've been around $87.

@thehoosierhuddle I pay extra for the Disney bundle because there are some teams I like to follow whose basketball games are primarily on ESPN+. I'm going to look into whether or not I can watch ABC/ESPN sports on that app as well.

I wonder if between that and getting the Big Ten app would allow me to watch all the regular season football/basketball games I want to see.

I think the NCAA tournament is the x factor for me. I'd have to figure out where I could watch those games.

Local affiliates might be a hurdle too. I think they block games on those apps if they're on local affiliates.

Whenever I would go to the live chats I would miss cable. My stream is 30 seconds, or more, later. I have really good internet speeds, but the streaming just can't compete.

@ohio-guy Big Ten live games are on the Fox Sports app. BTN+ has live events too, but not ones that are on the regular BTN channels

I only use YouTube TV for sports.  Every scripted show I watch is on a streaming service.  I've been thinking of jettisoning Youtube TV and going with just over the air antennae for local stations and maybe the ESPN add on.

I'm starting to do the rotation thing, now, though.  I cancelled a few streaming services and reupped Apple. I'll keep that for a month or two (through the new Gilligan series that is starting in November), then cancel that and reup another one and keep cycling through them.

Is Fubotv still around?  In the past that seemed the most comparable to YouTube TV but it was years ago when I had it.
