One of my all time favorite players. What a tough SOB. Never shied away from plunking someone he thought was crowding the plate and never shied away from a fight if it came to that(Just ask Robin Ventura!).
Netflix has a documentary on Ryan that came out a few years ago. If you've never watched it please do. It's awesome.

White Album >> Nevermind >> 1989 drives home the dreck that is modern "pop" music. I'm also over 50 and think actively of buying suspenders.
Ryan's first 2 no-hitters came in 1973. For the Rangers he threw 2 no hitters in 1990 and 1991. So 18 years between first and last.
I attended the following game which was a 1 hitter vs CWS in 1990. He gave up a hit in 2nd innning. I remembered it as 1st batter in 1st inning so deep dived a bit to see if I remembered correctly. I didn't but 1st batter of game makes for a better story. I also thought CWS had a deep no-hitter going and checked and Melido perez had a no-hitter into 5th inning so it was quite a pitchers dual.

I couldn't tell you one Taylor Swift song even if I've heard it a lot. The White Album and Nevermind are in my collection of Albums and CDs.

I don't disagree. I was looking up an album that would approach being as iconic as the first two. There was some good music released in 2014, but nothing on the level of the White Album/Nevermind.
My daughter was really into 1989 though. And Ryan Adams covered the entire album and some of that was good:
