@shooter It’s not who you support it’s your one-sided accusations. You have a mental problem in that you lack self-awareness. What you wrote in your thousands of posts doesn’t match what you claim to think/believe. You have a problem that being gracious is 95 percent at the feet of Dems yet you post incessantly attacking the five percent. No observer would fashion you anything but a hard core radical wokee. If that doesn’t comport with what what you want to be post differently. Express yourself differently.
... you sure fight like a dog for the left's inane policies.
I was also thinking about Mark's comment about cruelty. ICE cruelty is BY DESIGN. "Don't be too nice". When there's no microphones around, I suspect the instructions include to "rough up the [Hispanics], the [gays], the N-words, and the [libs]". That's at least a significant theme of MAGA. Embrace it.
50% of Border Patrol agents (and it was border patrol, not ICE, that shot Pretti) are Hispanic.
So something tells me instructions to “rough up Hispanics” are not being given.
With ICE it is only 24-30% Hispanic. Still larger than the general population by a meaningful margin no matter how you slice it.
These agencies over index in Hispanics like big city police forces do.
You make race essentialist arguments like this and wonder why you get called a leftist. Your ill informed, race baiting post could just as easily have been made by Whoopi Goldberg or Don Lemon.
@carramrod 100 percent. He posts like a panelist on The View then screams he's a conservative.
And as for your little quip about "brown people." I guarantee I count more brown people as friends than you've ever met. I should have been born brown.
Just because you don't want them removed for being brown doesn't mean a hell of a lot of your allies don't. If you are going to treat every D as progressive than I will treat every R as a racist SoB because clearly some are.
@arthur-dent No doubt some are racist. And some don’t like brown people. What does that have to do with the law? They’re legal or they’re not.
Ask Crump if he gets a "buck 75." He'll get a good laugh out of that one. Sue, sue, sue, and indict. Not just civil hold these agents criminally responsible and see what deterrent impact it has.
Maybe things are changing, but we know there is no investigation of the first shooting, and the wording on the second shooting is he is already on the street working somewhere.
I have mentioned a couple of times that no city cop shoots someone and gets back on the street until an investigation. Why is ICE so lax? Why are they so much worse cops than city cops. Minneapolis police killed no one in 2025, you know they arrested some very mean people. Heavily armed people.
So yes, they may get more than a buck 75. How much would make you forget a loved one being shot? The answer is training. I have harped on that since day 1 of this. But they wanted a massive show of force, a thousand agents in training isn't a show of force.
I have no idea what Trump wanted but he hired people who set out the shock and awe policy. I don't know that works domestically. You haven't heard me calling for impeachment, just an investigation into what happened. Recall the phrase justice delayed is justice denied. Tell me, what is the status of the investigation (both)? Did they ever change policy there will be no investigation on #1? Has their been any announcements on sharing data with Minnesota police in either case? Why do you find delay so acceptable? That isn't what I want from my government.
@arthur-dent No doubt some are racist. And some don’t like brown people. What does that have to do with the law? They’re legal or they’re not.
I thought Marv was a rule follower and former Bernie voter (I think he’s a progressive)? Maybe Arthur isn’t Marv?
@spartans9312 Oh wow. I hadn’t paid much attention but huh. Maybe you’re right. I’ll tell you I try not to be shittty in my responses because I assumed it was Marv
What is "The View"?
I wonder what GWB thinks of these parts of Homeland Security and what they have become, and their tactics. I was a big supporter of it being formed, part of why I supported GWB. Bet he didn’t imagine a secret police force engaged in, rather than fighting, domestic terrorism

@arthur-dent No doubt some are racist. And some don’t like brown people. What does that have to do with the law? They’re legal or they’re not.
Just what I said, you use progressive and Democrat interchangeably. They are not, so I reserve the right to use Republican and racist interchangeably.
I am trying hard to argue the moderate position. Tone down rhetoric on both sides. Back off to lower temperature. Create new policy that is less shock and awe and return to enforcing the law. If the mayor broke to law, charge him LATER. Hold government, at all levels, accountable. Again, the first shooting agents refused a doctor's help then blocked EMTs. Where is the accountability?
The left is not correct in this, but neither is the right. We need a middle road.
I said elsewhere, I have no idea what is Trump and what is his aides. Trump speaks about only going after worst of the worst right now, but that isn't what is happening.
Conservatives back in the days of Buckley would not find Noem lying as she did acceptable. You don't comment on that. I don't follow the Minneapolis mayor, but if he has encouraged interference that is wrong. We need both to shut up and get out of the way. Both. Neither side has clean hands. Stop trying to sell me this is 100% a liberal or Democratic problem, or even progressive. I am not at all denying culpability from the left. I love people protesting, I fully supported the Jan 6 protest up until they attacked the gate. Same here, show up, record, all is great. They have a constitutional right to call ICE names but I wish they wouldn't. But interfering is a step too far. If you interfere, ala King and Gandhi, link arms, be non violent, expect to be arrested.
@arthur-dent It’s a 100 percent liberal creation because it was their policies that opened the border. It’s the condition precedent that gave rise to all of this mess.
Then clean up the mess while also following the law. Focus first on the violent criminals, like you promised. Train your officers to not be undisciplined hacks and vigilantes. Is that too complicated?

@shooter I don’t know. Maybe. There’s been 700,000 deportations? ICE guy got his finger bitten off in Minny. They start at $50k. I doubt zero casualties is a reasonable expectation
