No one scares me. I didn’t word what I posted very well, but the gist was correct.true. I didn’t word it correctly because I was keeping it short.Glad to see it. It confirms what many of us thought.New HHS guidelines explained by two liberals. Except these two actually looked at the research and thought critically about the data, and they lay out why the "science" and "experts" we heard about during the trans craze were, at best, deluded by a bad report, and at worst, hiding data and acting intentionally misleading. That the Biden era HHS couldn't figure this out seems like evidence of politicization of that institution, doesn't it?
The new, common-sense recommendations:
Instead of medicalization, minors with serious gender-related discomfort should get less risky talk therapy and social support, not to force them to be gender-conforming, but to help manage distress. Kids should be supported in their identity exploration and self-expression and supported as they navigate their social lives. For minors convinced they want permanent bodily changes, therapists can be there to help them cope with the frustration of delaying permanent interventions until they are physically and psychologically mature enough to make such decisions as adults. Research suggests that for many minors with gender-related distress, this discomfort will resolve during the course of normal adolescent development.
It shouldn't make you glad to see science confirm your unscientific prejudices. It's dumb luck that you got this right (or any other thing you got right). We should be glad that we have science to lead us to the right conclusions, but don't ever confuse confluence with your own pre-formed opinions with anything meaningful.

Gender issues is a matter between the minor, their parents and the dr. Not sure why politicians or other people are sticking their nose into things that are not their concern.
There are very few trannies in women's sports. The issue is majorly overblown.
Illegal immigration needs to be addressed by more than just rounding up people that aren't white. Maybe the path to becoming a legal immigrant and gaining citizenship needs to be addressed..but the people crying about illegal immigration don't really want to fix it. They just want to go after the non-white people and make American white again. People are told to enter the country and apply for asylum and then get rednecks yelling they entered the country illegally lol. Those same rednecks supported Trump torpedoing a bill that would have allowed for asylum requests to actually be processed in a timely manner instead of taking years while those dangerous immigrants roamed our country terrorizing the local white people by doing jobs the white people didn't want in the first place.
Most dems don't want to defund police. Anyone that even paid attention to the ideas on the dumbly called "Defund Police" movement would know it wasn't about defunding but was about assigning tasks to non-police that might best be handled by non-police. Like mental health calls and such. Funny thing is that pubs/maga did literally argue to defund law enforcement in their crusade against the FBI.
Dems aren't any softer on crime than pubs. Pubs/maga just want to know whether a person is dem or pub before deciding if they should be arrested. Pardon J6ers and anyone who has kissed Trump's ring. A crime doesn't matter as long as they are a Trumper.
