I don’t know specifically, but I’d guess there are “conflict of interest” rules - which experience proves are followed to the smallest detail by our elected representatives in Washington. (When was the last time an elected official personally profited from performance of their official duties, right? Those poor savages live in poverty!)

Serious question for the lawyers. In all of these cases where someone is seeking monetary compensation for damages, don't you have to prove / justify that dollar amount?
Wouldn't Trump have to prove that the release of his tax information caused him to lose 10 billion in future revenue? How was that information being released affecting that?

Winning or proving damages isn't the goal. Trump's MO is to sue for a bunch, settle for less, cost his foe a bunch of time and grief, and declare victory.

So long as he keeps the priorities of getting rid of illegals, limits immigration, & goes after fraud perpetrated by immigrants he will have the support of many, including me. Nothing else matters to me until that stuff is cleaned up. Those are the only things that can bring about permanent change to our country if Dem policies are continued, everything else can be changed, undone, etc.

What does 'cleaned up' look like to you? A resounding majority of the U.S. wants immigration tightened up and violent criminals who are here illegally deported. The current enforcement strategy is something only a small minority of Americans seem to get behind though.
And it's a big deal that the President is grifting off the American tax paying public. You can worry about (at least) two things at once.

Biden's border policies were idiotic and were 180 degrees from Obama's. Anyone who wholeheartedly supported open borders should be ashamed. All 4-5 of them.
Some of Trump's objectives, like turning it back 180 degrees again, are wonderful and have been widely embraced. He was elected in large part for those , however what he ran on was rooting out criminal illegals. Not aggressively going after non-criminal landscapers, roofers, migrant farmers, 5-year-olds, and people with accents and brown skin, all the while having masked thugs demanding to see their papers at gunpoint and threatening to kill them if they get too mouthy and don't show proper respect to our untrained gravy seal brigade.
