While her wife stood outside the vehicle & recorded it. Probably trying to make a virtue signaling TikTok video & freaked out as it escalated. She probably wasn’t trying to run the dude over, but she put him in a situation to make a split second decision & he did the right thing by him & his job. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. This will happen more often(rightfully so) as Dems continue to encourage the impediment of law enforcement.

Regardless of how many things can be true at the same time, the idea that people think it's just A-OK to disrupt federal officials in the execution of their duties by blocking roads or otherwise physically creating barriers was ALWAYS going to lead to this point. Further, the Minneapolis PD being given an order to NOT provide crowd control means ICE has to do it on their own? Wonder how that was going to work out. Oh look, question answered.

Obama deported 3+ million without inflaming tensions this much. Part of that is he had an obedient press and it was still early in the social media era.
But if Trump really wants to ramp up deportations he should stop talking about them. Stop having Kristi Noem cut wrestling promos with people being tackled. Enough music videos. Stop listing cities in your hit list. Stop doing pointless show of force marches down the Mag Mile like you’re a conquering invader. Stop placing ICE recruitment commercials during Sunday night football.
Just do the business of deportations without purposely drawing attention to yourself. I think it could cut down on the protest reactions significantly and make it easier for ICE to do their jobs.
That is, of course, if Trump’s goal is deporting as many as possible and not simply trolling the opposition.

And one can argue that the first shot, through the windshield, was not entirely unjustified. But then the officer is out of harm's way, the threat is gone, but from the side of the vehicle he fires two KILL SHOTS through the window. I see no way that those two shots are justified in any way, shape, or form. That was retaliatory anger, not law enforcement. Maybe murder.
