@qparker Direction of this thread shifted once everyone realized the OP was nonsense.

You speak for 'everyone' now?

The only part of you fatter than your ego is your head.

You can’t read? You don’t have any comprehension ability? It’s clear if you can read and have any comprehension ability.

You’ve already proven many times over that you have limited reading and comprehension ability. That silly post was unnecessary, Viktor.

Why not consider it welfare for farmers? More people able to buy food, more money for Joe farmer.

Dumb.

Farmers don't lay around on their fat asses with their hands out...

@unclemark But how many Walmart employees get SNAP benefits?

That is where the bread is really buttered.  Taxpayers subsidize employers like Walmart in a myriad of ways.

I think you've left your analogy now. Do the employees for the companies you listed that get some revenue from SNAP recipients lay around on their fat asses with their hands out?

No, politicians make regulations that do it.  If Walmart closed tomorrow SNAP subsides don't go away.

@arthur-dent for sure. And what a weird counterintuitive thing to be cognizant of.  If I get a raise I eclipse the threshold and lose snap. Disincentive.

there are ways to make it.  Rural Midwest etc. but if that isn’t where you were born etc that’s a nonstarter for many.  This is no longer a country to be poor.

I blame Biden in part. Bc he’s a blinkard proxy but bigger than him I think history will look back at Covid as large of an inflection point as ww2. But for the worse.

we have a country where tens of millions are in trouble. And tariffs and all that won’t do shit but make it worse.  Every moment a democrat campaigns should be spent on making America more affordable.   Every thought. Every penny. Every speech to that end.  And be open and transparent.

Dreamer....

Where is @qparker 's outrage for farmer subsidies? Welfare is welfare. You can't pick and choose.
