This was my grandparents favorite spot as a kid. It was nice knowing you. I predict this radical leftist is gone within a year. Eh. As long as they don’t mess with the meatloaf, country fried steak, or pancakes, CB will be fine.
Incidentally, the first new CB in years opened near me, it has the updated decor, I never noticed. Rocking chairs are still there. So is the peg game.
@co-hoosier I haven’t been in 20 plus years. I got a turkey sandwich and a soda from one off the highway just before close in rural Tennessee coming home from college that hit the spot more than just about anything I’ve ever eaten.

Cracker Barrel sucks ass. Always has. Waffle House and Denny's are a thousand times better. Any small Greek diner, with a menu thicker than a Bible, is one billion times better. Shit, even Bob Evans is better. Cracker Barrel is losing customers because the food sucks and the place sucks.

Can't blame Cracker Barrel for wanting a more updated logo...although not a huge fan of what they chose.
Haven't been in an updated cracker barrel but it looks nice in the pictures. Of course, that is subjective whether it is better or worse than before.
But trying to shake things up to help turn things around seems pretty sensible.
Personally, as long as l like the food, restaurant is clean and service is good, I would come back. As for cracker barrel, I am the only one in my family that likes the food so don't go often and these updates likely won't change that.

Im with you on the Greeks. I don’t even look at the menu, I just tell the server what I want to eat and they fix it.
