MAGA:

But that's different! Somehow. Our team! Let's wait to see what Trump tells us to think.

If one commits voter fraud I guess it is very safe to then state that voter fraud exists.

Reason to stand up against hypocrisy, right @oneeyedundertaker ?

Voter fraud exists. Often by MAGA rubes who get caught, usually immediately, and claim that they had to cheat since they were told that Dems were cheating.

Rates seem to be really really low, though, so impact is tiny. Like Trump's hands. Or like the brains of the people who treat him like he's Jesus.

Sure. Now how you go about actually implementing that is up for debate. It has to start long before election day; it has to start with registration. But that's not sexy enough, so many would rather just make voting difficult, or just falsely claim that fraud is rampant after your candidate loses.

Is buying liquor or cigarettes difficult?  What is rampant?  Does every vote matter, & if not, will you give yours up?

There’s no reason for you to be a closeted homosexual in this day and age, if Trump isn’t your type due to his tiny hands, he can still be a good POTUS…

I'm not sure that it's possible to prevent the fraud that actually happens. Look at Poso. He took advantage (allegedly) of a system that was designed to allow one to vote who is not physically near his domicile. We need to have that system in place, for troops, students, people travelling for work, people receiving long-term medical treatment outside their voting district, etc. Can't really prevent people taking advantage of that.

What we can do is make it really, really painful to get caught. If you get caught committing voter fraud, the punishment should be draconian. Make it clear to everyone, trying to play this game isn't worth it, because if you get caught, you're royally fucked.
