Sounds like 5 victims (unknown conditions) plus the shooter

Hopefully, Nevada has an explanation for why he has a documented history and did not lose his permit. I suspect the families of the victims can't sue NV, but maybe that would get states to take mental health issues among gun owners a bit more seriously. If he thought he had CTE, and people knew this, that should be a huge red flag. Aggression is common in CTE, this isn't some condition that should be ignored.
@arthur-dent problem is it cant be diagnosed until after you die
It can't be confirmed. But someone can suspect CTE. I'd say there was a chance the guy just made it up on his own, but the reports he has had "documented" mental health issues make me suspect either a therapist told him he might have CTE, or he told a therapist he might have CTE. Either should be very concerning for a gun owner.
This actually is a tough question. If we take guns away from people who seek mental health services, gun owners just aren't going to seek mental health services. So we don't want it to be SOP. But there are times we absolutely need to.
Also a shooting in Reno. Gunman had a 9mm
His high school coach was interviewed on CNN and stated that he did not recall any head injuries suffered by the player, just an ankle injury.
It seems doubtful that CTE played a role, but I guess that we will eventually find out from the autopsy.

This guy was a POS. Literally killed a bunch of innocent people that had nothing to do with the conspiracy he convinced himself of. Suicide in and of itself is a selfish act, but at least do it and don't kill a bunch of random people because you hate yourself.
May he be tortured in hell for eternity.

He got it in his head he had CTE and ran with it. No different that being convinced that God is speaking to you. Dude was mental, and was known to law enforcement. Still held his guns legally though.
The stories I've read said officials think he wanted to get to the NFL offices, but took a wrong elevator bank.
Dude was a nutcase.
You see that picture of how the Blackstone boys barricaded their door?
That is spatial IQ, that is quick reaction, that’s why they’re investment bros in NYC and you are poor.

Was it this feller?

Or this feller?

A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying "that was f***ing awesome"
