Another high-level staffer, DNI Tulsi Gabbert, appears to have been totally sidelined without being actually fired. Of course, it was clear that she too was incompetent and unqualified for the DNI job from the get go.

Tulsi was in Hawaii posting pictures at the beach while the Maduro operation was going down. She's been 100% sidelined. Rubio can't stand her.

She's been in witness protection almost from the beginning. My memory is failing me at the moment, but I believe she publicly and directly contradicted Trump in a statement of some sort... and hasn't been seen since (not counting the nights she spends here with me).

The Maduro operation not only required significant military precision and planning, but even more intelligence planning and precision among NSA, CIA, and all the rest.  If it wasn’t Gabbard, who pulled that off?

You really don't pay attention these days. They bypassed her. It's been in tons of articles, and she wasn't even in the photoshoot after the operation. The CIA Director was. Gabbard wasn't even in town.

Photoshoot?  You’ve also claimed the senior military bypass Hegseth, yet he is in the photo.  The Gabbard story has been explained and even debunked in some respects by Vance and others.  I’d like to take seriously things you say about military  operations but you are your own worst enemy.

They can't bypass the SecDef, and I never said they did. I don't know where you got that. I said they don't respect him, and that's true.  They tolerate him because they always support the chain of command and will as long as he's SecDef which will be until the President decides he no longer likes him. Everything I've said about Hegseth is a fact, he's considered an unqualified, self-promoting, strutting fool by 90 percent (my estimate, but certainly it's a very large percentage and I think it's about right) of the senior officers and military and that might be generous to Hegseth. He put classified information into the Signal chat (his IG confirmed that, but strike plans are ALWAYS classified, and every senior military officer knows it) and lied about it. He, and undistinguished former Major, rounded up all the senior commanders and senior enlisted advisors in the military and lectured them about "warrior ethos." They considered that an absolute joke. Calling himself the Secretary of War, when by law he's the Secretary of Defense, is considered a joke. I talk to these people and did so last week.

There's a ton of smoke concerning Gabbard, who was supremely unqualified for her position too, and you just choose to ignore it. It's easy to bypass the DNI, and that happened.

I think you said they pushed Hegseth aside in planning midnight hammer because he couldn’t be trusted with classified info and he wasn’t competent.

How dare you claim to know more about the inner workings of the military than rando civilian lawyers and some anonymous message board clowns.

SecDefs don't do the planning and Hegseth in particular has no experience in planning anything like this. I was only speculating on what details he was aware of since he proved he can't be trusted with protecting classified information. Maybe he's learned a lesson from Signal-Gate.

The operations planning and execution was excellent. We have a very capable military led by very capable senior officers.

I don't think it's very admirable that Republican Congressmen and Congresswomen decide to say what they really think about the President and the administration after they've decided to retire or leave Congress.

I think that most everything that Republican Congressmen and Congresswomen say about the President and the administration is steered by a fear-- no, an expectation -- of direct retaliation for any negative comments.  So only the people on the verge of retiring with nothing to fear ever choose to share their actual thoughts.

Real thoughts also emerged during Presidential primaries, where JD Vance called Trump a Nazi, while Rubio, Graham, Cruz, and others insisted that he was fundamentally unfit for office.  Months later they all puckered up, though.  Kiss the ring.  Or other parts....

@shooter That's both parties.  Biden was doing the Biden shuffle with drool coming out of his mouth and we were told by politicians the man is sharp as a razor.  Psaki the Haitian.  Harris.  On and on.  Until Clooney came out at exposed it.

Part of me feels bad for her. I believe her when she says she was just the instrument Stephen Miller was operating through.

She's done. It's not being considered at this point, sounds like done deal

And Miller didn't make her do all the other stupid shit she's done. She's grossly incompetent and a full blown bitch. Just wait for the stories one she's actually fired. She'll be buried so far she'll never come back.
