This is not the first time he's made this weird claim. It's demonstrably false. Most recent poll has Bondi with 63% approval among Republicans and only 6% approval among Democrats.
She was on the least qualified nominees list from the beginning along with Hegseth, RFK, Gabbard and Patel. I think Bondi was technically competent enough but should have been disqualified for being a Trump sycophant. Noem wins the prize of being the first to go. Blue Ribbon, baby!
Who's next? Patel gets my vote. He's already on Trump's shitlist for his frat-boy impersonation (the guy is 46) at the Olympics. Trump reportedly criticized the behavior and questioned Patel's use of a government plane for the trip. Patel has used the plane for other junkets including a visit to his girlfriend. Not sure why that would bother Trump as he regularly grifts taxpayers for trips to his properties, but it does. Same reasoning, I guess, as to why Trump gets two scoops of ice cream when everyone else gets one.

the only (completely flawed) logic I see that he can be using is that 1) Bondi is female, 2) her hire must therefore be is DEI, and 3) Dems love DEI hiring

He ignores the fact that not a single person would be successful in cases that aren't legit and/or have no evidence. The fact that bondi even goes after bad cases at Trump's request just shows how corrupt she is.
