I saw 1776 on stage when I was a kid. Oddly, our swim team sponsored a performance as a fund raiser. Despite not even being in high school yet, I thought it was a pretty cool show.
took our kids to see it on stage when they were Jr. High. I saw it once more on stage and I have the DVD. It’s probably been 40 years since I’ve seen it on stage and I keep looking. Surprising and disappointing that no national touring company produces it now.
