I think there's some truth to the idea that for decades Israel has been looking for a partner to do the heavy lifting in helping them take out Iran.
Reagan wasn't stupid enough to do it for them.
GHWB wasn't stupid enough to do it for them.

GWB wasn't stupid enough to do it for them.
Obama wasn't stupid enough to do it for them.
Trump in his first term wasn't stupid enough to do it for them.
Biden wasn't stupid enough to do it for them.
But now they've finally found their puppet.
Put another way, Presidents since Reagan have been saying that under no circumstances should Iran be allowed to have a nuclear weapon and Trump is the first to put real teeth to the idea.
I remember when the sanctions were working and Obama removed them despite knowing Iran wasn't going to uphold its end of the bargain as it relates to IEA access and assessment.

Should of cut that cord with Israel before it got this far. That govt. is as horrible as an as long as the they have big bully US military to rescue them. Iran doesn't really stand much chance but maybe they will find a way to hit Israel hard in all of this and do some damage like take out Bibi and a lot of his main govt. officials.

In my opinion, absolutely it would be good. You think that too. A good chunk of Muslims here in America probably think that also.
The problem is, despite the popular and biased American opinion to the contrary, we don't get to tell Iranian citizens how to live their life. You made the claim that the majority want to be more Democratic and are being repressed by the "liberal progressive" Muslim religious leadership (which that last part in itself is almost enough to throw out your argument all together). Do you have any proof / sources to back that claim up?
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you are not an expert on Iranian culture. So, I'm not going to take your word for it that the majority of the populace is cheering that we just took out one of their religious icons (even if he wasn't the most beloved) and a good chunk of their senior leadership.
Most of the Iranian citizens are likely alot more like you and I than you would think. People just want to be left alone and live their lives. Provide for their families. Worship their god (if they are so inclined). They don't give a flying flip what's happening on the far side of the world. Us coming in and telling them to overthrow their government is about as dumb as Trump rambling in his post a few weeks ago about how if Canada makes a deal with China, China will own them and force them to give up hockey.
