@iunorth yeah it's ridiculous.  i get that the league caters to messi.  shit i would too.  but damn midwest cities get passed over and now it was our turn to have him come here and of course they're not.  i have connections and wanted to get a pic real bad of him with my minion.  but no.  because the fck would anyone want to come here.

Even having Inter Miami on the schedule isn't a guarantee that he'll come to your city. I think it was last season that they played in Cincinnati without Messi.

@aloha-hoosier it's getting cold here.  I would stay in Arizona and pay a little more for gas.

@ohio-guy this is very true. I’m debating going to Cincy with a buddy to see him play this weekend.  We have a connection at Cincy.

but what I really want is him here and to see if I can get a pic with my kid. It would have been their turn to come here.

all the things 🤣🤣🤣 It is insane gas was $5.50 and it’s now 2.50

Average nationwide for regular is $3.10 and it's not as low as $2.50 in any state though I wish it was. I paid $3.50 yesterday at Sam's Club for midgrade (91).

AAA Fuel Prices

Move to central Indiana.  It's been 2.49 for a couple of weeks now.  Got some today.

I am looking on the Upside app all over Central and even with the app discounts, I'm not seeing anything at 2.49. the lowest I see is in Crawfordsville and it's 2.80.

You also said on the old board that gas would be below $2 at this point. So you're not the best to follow when it comes to gas prices.

Drive to Hamilton County.  When you get here I'll show you where it's at.   I can't remember the exact number but I took under around 2.6-8 range. If I remember you said it wouldn't get below 3?  I wish we had the post.

you said under 2. I think 1.98 was your actual prediction. I probably did say under 3. Currently the national average is 3.10. which is .06 higher than last year.

The Speedway on 32 between Westfield and Nobletucky has it at 2.50. I can't find anywhere else under 2.75.

The economy is not better than it was a year ago. It wasn't great then and it's worse now.

Your winter will be mild compared to here. This area averages over 100 inches of snow in the winter. It is bright and sunny here most of the time though. It's beautiful, but it's still snow and it's still cold. Not super cold, but cold enough. Not my thing.

Westfield has 2.59 as well.  I filled up there last week.  It seems to be cheaper throughout Hamilton Country for some reason.

I was referring to what I pay for gas, not the national average on the 2 dollars prediction.  I doubt we get there, but I think 2.30s will happen.  The 3 dollar over under was national average.  I took under and said I'd take under 2.69 or 2.79.

We disagree on the economy.  A 4 handle on GDP with inflation at 3% is solid.  And they managed to do it while shrinking government jobs, adding tariffs, and decreasing deficit spending as percent of GDP.  And yes wage growth has outpaced inflation and is up as well.

we do disagree on the economy. It certainly could be worse and has been worse but it ain't great. Inflation in September 2025 was 3%. September 2024 it was 2.4%. Wage is still beating inflation but the growth rate is down about 1 point on average vs 2024. Where are you seeing a GDP of 4? It was down in Q1 and was 3.8 in Q2. 3.8 is very good though. Not denying that. Just not 4. Q3 isn't out yet. Some models are showing+4 but others are showing around 2.

Link the articles and models you are seeing. I'm genuinely curious.

@mrhighlife you look stupid with your Biden defense of this stuff. It’s not a good look. It’s hickory level stupid. Look at the border numbers when Biden took office. Look at the price of gas. Look at inflation.  Have some pride and stay quiet.  Stick to Trump. Nothing was worse than Biden and the progressives on prices for goods gas border etc. and floor predicted it on day one

@aloha-hoosier my tolerance for uninformed uneducated defense of Biden is zero. None. He fckd an entire generation.  He has blood on his hands with his shit policies. He’s the worst president in American history and when you see someone defending him you know straight away they’re a moron.

easier to stick with trump. There’s plenty there. But the comparison to Biden loses anyone with an iq over 70. Biden and his handlers were the people who won student council on a free pizza no homework platform and let’s see what happens.  The only thing to ameliorate their stupidity was manchin then losing the house.  They were no different than the clown in nyc.

@mrhighlife I'm 40 minutes south of Indy, I haven't seen sub-$3 in years (except when traveling out of state).  Kroger points don't count lol

Funny where this thread went...wasn't the original topic Trumps threats against elected Democrats?

@bcbranimal Dems stirring shit up are stupid asses playing politics. Let Trump shoot as many boats as he wants off Miami.  Beats tariffs or sending out $2k checks.  That should be the collective goal. Keep trump preoccupied with petty things, retaliatory lawsuits, anything that leaves the masses untouched
