Stellantis aka MOPAR has announced the rejuvenation and returning to the world of big V8 engines, with more muscle than ever. This includes bringing back the marketing and engineers who will focus on more and more street daemons. Just a few years ago Stellantis announced the end of V8 production as it drove towards all electrics and new government mpg standards. Stellantis wasn’t alone in that. (Jaguar is about out of business because of similar decisions taken to more extremes).
I’m not particularly fond of this direction, but I do think it signals the end of allowing government and big climate to rule the roost. Don’t know if big V8 engines will make America Great Again, but it will certainly make America noisy and flashy.

Maybe they could hire some competent and creative designers.
Look good; sound good; run FAST.
Can anyone here play this game?
More about this. Congress essentially ended the CAFE standards in the BBB. I guess the media was too focused on Epstein files to notice this. The US car industry will be burning rubber again.
Looked at what may end up being my 3rd Corvette yesterday.
Have been a hot rod/speed buff since youth.
There is plenty of speed equipment and skill in the marketplace enabling anyone to go fast, even on a budget. Older cars and the aftermarket is the ticket.
