• Posts must relate to Indiana University athletics.

• Use off-topic threads for unrelated content when available.

3. No Spam or Unsolicited Promotion

• Avoid irrelevant links or excessive self-promotion.

• Occasional sharing of relevant content (e.g., blogs, podcasts) is fine if it adds value.

4. Avoid Duplicate Threads

• Check for existing threads before posting, especially for games or big news.

• Use megathreads or official discussion threads where applicable.

5. Use Clear, Informative Titles

• Help others join the conversation with descriptive thread titles.

• Examples: ✅ “IU vs Michigan State Game Thread” ❌ “Wow!”

6. Be Accurate and Honest

• Share trustworthy, verifiable info—especially with news or rumors.

• Label speculation clearly.

7. Respect Players, Coaches, and Staff

• It’s okay to critique performance—just don’t cross into personal attacks or cruelty.

• No doxxing, mockery, or dehumanizing language.

8. Game Thread Etiquette

• Save spoilers for live threads only.

• Be considerate of users watching on delay or replays.

9. Moderator Discretion Applies

• Mods can take action on posts or users that violate the spirit of the rules.

• Feedback is welcome, but moderation decisions shouldn’t be argued publicly.
