I mean, I get that the American people are generally kinda stupid, but even a 5 year old can tell you that there aren't any monkeys in The Lion King. There's one primate in the entire move, a mandrill (Rafiki), and he has a distinct grey / white color pallet that is nothing like the depiction in that meme.

Supposedly they're blaming it on a White House intern/staffer, but I have little doubt that Trump is in sole control of what he posts. How many times does he shit post in the middle of the night? Are we supposed to believe that's a staffer too?
Little doubt it was Trump but, on the off chance it wasn't, how about a statement along the lines of "effective today, the staffer is no longer employed at the White House." That's what a rational person/president would direct, but we're talking about someone who's clearly not right in the head.

@bulk-vh As crazy as this sounds, I think we're nowhere near the bottom with Trump. I think his words and actions are somewhat constrained by the upcoming midterms and the recognition - - at least on some small level - - that he can badly damage the party in November. After the midterms, when he never has to deal with an election again, he'll go fully ballistic, literally "like no one (in the US) has ever seen before." It'll be a full-blown revenge tour. And as this already unstable man reaches 80 and beyond, holy shit.

@aloha-hoosier Can you imagine if any other president ever proposed such a thing? It would've been the top news story for days, there would've been calls for invoking the 25th Amendment, and no serious person would have defended the proposal.
