I don't know, the people I hear from or about are either pro standard or pro daylight. Winners was adamant on Daylight, people like Sagarin are huge on Standard. The 3 options pretty much guarantees no majority. Below is Sagarin's argument that Indiana is geographically in Central, so EDT puts Indiana 2 hours off:

The problem with that, it gets dark about 4:30 in Chicago late Dec/early Jan, so eastern Indiana would be dark even earlier.
I would prefer EST, but if we held a vote and EDT won, I would not complain. Either are preferable to random time.
Except the Navajo Nation observes daylight savings time. Driving across Northern AZ during DLST, my watch, phone, and car change times frequently as we go in and out of the Navajo Nation.

It's not as much of a pain in the ass as it used to be as analog clocks become more of a thing of the past, but I still wish they would just do away with DST altogether.
That said, I still had to reset two alarm clock radios, stove, microwave and two older car radio displays.
A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying "that was f***ing awesome"

As the man who wears the skirt in the family while my old lady brings home the bacon, all that shit is on me. I changed all the clocks, made breakfast, stripped and laundered the bedding and got a pork shoulder, taters and carrots going in the slow cooker...all before noon.
I keep trying to talk her into letting me hire a cleaning lady with big cans, but she said we already have one...
