Why is the media not covering this?  You know if the roles were reversed there would be nonstop coverage.  Absolutely disgusting.  And any person stupid enough to be living in a city needs to be carrying at all times.

bc the media is woke and the left relies on the black vote. Black culture is an abomination.  Once it infiltrates your community run. Had an armed robbery last week by my office.  Race was never in doubt.
It’s the biggest threat to any city and if we were able to have truthful discussions we could try to fix it. One possession charge gets life.  Parents charged with heavy felonies. Reparations.  Full on reparations.  Whatever.

@stollcpa and progressives want defund and bail projects. This iteration of the democrat party is the dumbest collection of politicians in the history of the country.
Shame we can’t speak truthfully and figure out a way to fix the black problem. Reparations. Gentrification.  I’d be all in to help. We have the resources

Not sure anything can be done.  Scott Adams might be right in that this can't be fixed.  I think the big difference in black culture vs other races is that we aren't willing to risk being killed or risk life in prison over what amounts to a few bucks or a minor pissing contest.  They are though.  You saw it in Texas with Austin Metcalf.  He tells the black kid that he's in his seat and asks him to please move.  The response was to immediately stab Metcalf into the heart.  Now he'll spend life in prison and I doubt he has any regrets.  How do you fix that?

@dbmhoosier it would take a generation but remember blacks got fckd. Land. Zero inter generational wealth transfer.  In the lifetime of our parents they were deprived of all the basic shit. They’re starting WAY behind.  That touches so much. Deprives them of so many opportunities etc

@mcm666 Blacks were well on their way prior to the axis shift under the LBJ regime.

@jdb I think DBM is trying to steal your schtick. Better start a "What should we do about Black People?" thread pronto.

@mcm666 This is an incredible story, here in the Queen City. Very little coverage. The Cincinnati Enquirer, which puts its editions to bed early, did not have any mention of this in this morning’s edition. The assault happened late Friday/early Saturday. So, no time for Saturday’s edition. Reds’ games, for example, played on a Monday evening don’t get coverage until the Wednesday edition.

But there was no fvcking mention in the Sunday edition. And this is getting major play on-line.

Watched the 6:00 evening news tonight for the ABC and NBC affiliates. In Both cases, this was the THIRD story, after some rain coverage and the Bengals’ first-round draft pick’s first practice on one and coverage of Cincinnati-native Dave Parker’s HOF induction on the other.

One local anchor commented that they weren’t doing much with this story because they didn’t have permission from the person who filmed the attack to show the video. But it’s all over social media. The Kid Down the Hall called Bull hockey on that as he said “fair use” applies. There’s no trademark issue or anything similar that applies.

Feckless mayor. Feckless city council. Newspaper and TV stations which constantly lie about the safety of downtown and OTR (Over the Rhine - “entertainment district”).

Look for Return to the Land types to have a growth surge.

Can anyone here play this game?

@univee2 very sad stuff.  and pretending it doesn't happen, isn't a blight on cities, isn't helping anything and does nothing but to continue to erode peoples' faith in media as being anything other than a political arm.

stl city, woke shithole that it is, has this man to remind us all of the score.  for nearly half a century he's been telling it like it is - eliott davis let's us know when we're being duped.  hopefully cincy has someone similar

@dbmhoosier Well, the vice-mayor was interviewed on one of the local newscasts this evening. I couldn’t help but notice that it was a Kevin Bacon “All is well!” bit.

Pathetic.
