Anyone have the tradition of watching Christmas Vacation every year around Christmas?

I was almost 40 the first time I saw Christmas Vacation. I think it’s overrated.

it probably is similar to a lot of comedies of the era, but it seemed to just be a series of skits.

@tmft Christmas Vacation, Planes, Trains, Vacation, The Great Outdoors, etc. are all fun, light movies to watch with the kids.  None of them are great movies.  But they are nostalgic and give a good, warm feeling.

Anyone watch Spirited? My wife and daughter absolutely love it. I don't really love it, but it's enjoyable enough to see once a year around Christmas. Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell are always pretty funny.

It’s Chevy Chase slapstick slop. The Braindeads LOVE Christmas Vacation.
