Members,
There is a new Bill Connelly book coming out in September. Here is an Amazon link to it (we get a cut of purchase).
Where I am from which is Washington IN, Bill Connelly was a mentally handicapped guy who worked at Allen Field which is where they played little league baseball games etc. Bill would clean up and was loved by the community. As a child I remember him going to the movies on Saturday Morning and as he came down to get his seat would yell out, "ahhhooooooo!" Bill died a number of years ago and got a very nice article written about him.
While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. H. Spurgeon
