Is there a way to turn off getting emails every time anyone tags you or quotes you in a post? Clutters up my email inbox, and nothing I see under account settings or profile or anything else turns off email notifications

I've only seen that a handful of times, but yes, it's something the user should be able to determine. In my case, my Notifications on the forum pages get overloaded since I'm getting them any time someone replies to a thread I started. I can't imagine what Sammy's looks like. Would make the whole idea of being notified useless.
I've been getting a lot more emails in the past week or so. I don't really care. I mostly ignore emails, anyway. But I have definitely noticed an uptick. And a lot of them are late. I just now got an alert for a message I received this morning.
@goat Yeah, we are working on it. It went from sending out 500 in 2 minutes and shutting my gmail account down to this. But we are working our way down the list of bugs
