@evanalvarez8 sorry to say it just looks like we are headed for a stinker of a year. Would love to see them turn it around but I'm afraid that the bullpen pitching is just not Power 4 talented enough and their fundamentals are lacking. Mercer has always had a sluggers lineup to cover up for their shortfalls but this year is a Whitey Herzog type of team that seems to lack the power hitting they need to overcome. Right now I don't see 20 wins from the schedule they have lined up this year. I will gladly eat crow if they prove me wrong. Hope they start that process this Saturday in Eugene. My Salt and pepper shaker are close by. LOL.

@82iugrad You're right about that. IU actually got good pitching and made some great plays on defense last night, but didn't get the hitting. They can't put it all together. Hopefully the powers that be take a deep look into baseball because it's turning into a wasted opportunity.
