Eh…the kid made a tough shot. It was well defended. Wilkerson makes those free throws and we probably win by 8-10

Who knows, was it a player error, a coaching error. or a coaching decision? Only the team knows.
There's a lot of coaches in NCAA who won't foul in that situation, 2 of them in our conference lost just this week with the same error. Pros almost always foul in that situation, as they should. It's not a foolproof winning move, sometimes offensive rebounds happen.
You're just fixating on every conceivable negative after a good road win. Why? Who knows .. Have a good night and enioy your misery.
Our point guard had fouled out by that point as well which makes it even more egregious IMO.

@jj_mcclure I thought the same thing- but… with the new rule on getting a step after the foul (more or less continuation), you are starting to see a lot of teams choose not to risk a possible shooting foul

I will wait till next season to see if this thing is really cooking or not. Just been burned too much over the last 25 years on getting excited over a few games. I would probably not be an meh if football still stunk but now I know we have a winning program so in football so its hard for me to get super excited yet.
You got to hand it to DD. He's made adjustments, albeit one of those was necessitated by an injury, and it's paid off. We've seen enough coaches at IU that wouldn't or if they eldid it was too late. Inserting Dorn and Alexis into the starting lineup has paid off. When Conerway comes back, he'd be an outstanding 6th man. Cautiously optimistic at this point.

hahaha I’m far from that crowd dude- Gthomas has hated the DD hire from day one- can’t see any positives.
