Woodson didn't recruit shooters and really, Archie didn't either. That has been the biggest factor I'd say.
Clearly, DeVries values shooting the basketball well. And from the video it looks like passing/ball movement and close outs are also valued.
For me, the biggest question will be whether these guys can play at Big Ten level or will it take several years of recruiting? But fundame tally, I think they will appeal with the new style of play. I'm only guessing but so far so good.
@thehoosierhuddle - thank you. Yes, I joined/subscribed on July 1. Just cleared my cache and still no access.
Red can you open up the search page at google.com?
I only ask because I'm having the same issue with the articles and I also can't hit any google domains. Can't ping from the command prompt. Nothing.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

@unclemark It’s weird because I’m generally bad with names, but I know who most of the players are by the end of the first game. My wife will ask me who a bench player is many games into the season. It’ll be a little harder with 13 new players and walkons but I’ll get them down quickly. I’ll have cousins whose names I won’t remember at the next family reunion. 😉

It will take me a lot longer than that. I probably destroyed more brain cells over the years than you did.
@unclemark not sure if you guys are watching the interviews with the players, but so far I’ve been impressed. They all are clear-eyed, respectful and seem to know exactly why they are here. Also, they don’t reflect the ‘all about me’ air.
