If there was ever a time for names on the jerseys, it's now. I might have a handle on who these guys are by the time conference season rolls around.
Sammy - one of the issues that has plagued IU in recent years is a perplexing inability to shoot effectively inside Assembly Hall. Crappy offenses aside, how much time does the team actually spend practicing & shooting inside AH, rather than Cook?
@the-watson Also, opponents have shot very well in AH, though that isn't as perplexing...

Also, Sammy will know best, but from what I recall from some friends who covered IUBB, the team practices in AH often.
@the-watson I believe that was more a shooter issue than a location issue. However, I don’t know that breakdown.
i do think there is something about shooting in an NBA area that you don’t play in very often that messes kids up.
Sorry to bother - but as I try to read the article, it wont give me access, and tells me to subscribe. I'm logged into the HH site, but access is denied. I tried going to X first, but that just takes me bak to the article home page where I need to subscribe. What am I doing wrong?
@red-x did you pay to subscribe? If so, you need to clear your cache. Several people have had that issue and it was solved by doing that
@the-watson Full team practices typically occur at Assembly Hall. Your theory is an interesting one as a lot of individual workouts do occur at Cook Hall but I don't think practice location has played any role in IU's inability to effectively shoot the ball from the perimeter during games. That written, if this group of guys is woeful from behind the arc, we'll launch a full-blown investigation ha.
