Big next four minutes given IU's 2nd half woes. If Minnesota cuts into the lead, I'll be concerned.

It's really not a bad defensive strategy, tbh. But I don't think they were expecting Alexis to be an All-American tonight.

Indiana started really well and then finished the half really well...the Hoosiers lead 43-28 as Tucker DeVries dunks the ball on a nice pass from Reed Bailey. IU has 17 from Alexis and 24 points in the paint. Can they put 20 more good minutes together?

Now it's time for the Hoosiers to bury them before the first media timeout.

@tjinman1987 It is hard to tell because this team gets hot and then cold. Let's hope they can put the first 5 min together to solidify what they did in the 1st.

While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. Yes sir. Don't let Minnesota even sniff momentum.

IU extends the lead to 18 at 52-34...Sam Alexis has tried his IU high with 19 points and the Hoosiers are still getting great looks against the MN defense. So far, so good.

Let's keep it up Hoosiers. Get some drives to the bucket and then it will open more 3 pt shots.

IU leads 55-40 with 11:36 to play in the game but things could get a bit hairy as Lamar Wilkerson now has three fouls.

Reed Bailey with a nice finish through contact and then a block and Conor Enright scores on a wide open drive, IU now with a game-high 19-point lead at 59-40. Timeout Gophers.

I like this push to get it to 19. Coming into this season I had no expectations because we had a new coach and a whole new team. This team plays hard, and is not very talented. Good kids and I think a good style of ball. Hopefully we can get a talent infusion next season. But how many of the current players will be on the team????????

@tjinman1987 I think you’re a tad negative on this.  IU is in, as of today, in many Bracket predictors.  A win tonight would solidify that, and probably play us in on some…DeCourcy has IU first couple teams out, as example.  I think because of all this, a win tonight and over OSU puts us in a good spot to get an at large.
