@drjb kinda what I’m thinking.  And if he’s better in all aspects…we should be able to expect 12-13 conference wins.  Solid BTT and NCAA performance, and growing presence in elite recruiting circles.  If those types of things don’t happen, I’m firing him if I’m Dolson.

I did not see any of it but when I say the halftime score I knew iu was toast .As always we stink up the btt and why I never buy into the iu can make a btt run delusions.

@hoosiers94 I wouldn’t say perfect is necessary.  Just better at really all facets of his job.  Talent evaluation.  Picking guys with the right mental makeup.  Making sure we have talent and depth at all positions.  Making sure we have physicality on the roster.  Coaching them better.  Holding them to a higher standard.  Basically everything.  Just needs to be better at everything.  Not perfect, just better.

yeah don't see that happening

DeVries isn’t suddenly going to become a better coach. Not at this stage of his career.

@openwheel Roster has to get better. We had according to Coach Tonsoni over at the Back Home Network, "a Missouri Valley Conference Roster playing in the B1G".

While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. H. Spurgeon

@hoosiers94 yeah, doubt it.  Just saying an acceptable step forward doesn’t need perfect, or momentous improvements, or 20 million bucks in NIL.  There were 5-6 wins out there this year, as uneven as they were, and as poorly as they finished the year.

But after the finish, and after today, not sure logic can possibly lead to CDD figuring all those things out.  He’s the central figure here in all these issues.  It’d take a lot of hope to believe he’ll improve in all those areas.

Well glad I didn't change my plans tonight so I could watch that debacle.

Tell the seniors not to come back to the Hall, their belongings will be shipped to them.

I'd be astonished if CDD were fired, just not going to happen after one year, but his leash just got shorter.

Got home in time to turn it on with two minutes left and my wife said well at least you had football. I said yeah pretty much my thought a few months ago. She did not go to IU.

Well that does it. We'll go into this like the season is over. I don't anticipate IU accepting an NIT or Crown bid.

Other than beating Purdue a number of weeks ago that's the best news of the season.

I would take it one step further:

Indiana has done a good job of convincing me that whoever is coach doesn’t matter.  The program continues to erode to levels I never thought possible.

Glaring ugly game stat: In 50 minutes of play, Alexis & Bailey combined for a total of 2 rebounds. They accomplished their feat without Arrinten Page, the 6'11" NW big not playing in the game.

We suck. This team is 14-18. 14 and 18.

Well, they are 15-18 now and should be 13-20 if we had any kind of program going right now. SHEEZE.

As human beings we were created to hope, so I will hope in the off season for better IU basketball to come. As Coach T remarked, the roster construction was not up to competing in the Big 10. I am far more concerned with the coaching as an experienced group of seniors often played with little poise, discipline or purpose.
