It’ll be interesting to see how Conerway makes his way back in to the rotation. He’s obviously impactful, and needed. But he’s one of our more inconsistent players, focus wise.
Also, it’d be great to see Josh Harris get healthy and get some minutes. It’s been nice to see Jasai Miles contributing.
Dorn, Sisley, and Miles… not too bad of a core group of contributors returning next year. It’d be great to see what Harris can bring too. And we have some good, versatile, wings coming in the 26 class too. Might get another one soon on top of the two we already have.
Despite the very uneven play, it was never as bad of a situation as some have made it out to be. And I assume we’ll have some more bad losses coming home. But we’ll also have some more big wins. It’s not perfect, tonight certainly wasn’t perfect, but he’s doing a solid job, overall. And I’ll bet he has a more talented roster next year.
Enright was my player of the game. His defense was exceptional, 8 assists and his points came at key times during the game. Let's allow the season to play out Hoosier fans. DeVries could have a solid core returning next year and during portal time may only have to selectively shop for only 3 or 4 players (point guard, a couple bigs and another bench piece.)

The 3 he hit at the end was very clutch.
Our first quad 1 win and a big one at that. Hopefully this translates into a winning streak out West.
Enright.. game ball.
bit all my finger nails off there at the end.
the effort for 40 won the game. Although the last 3-4 minutes were a cluster but I'll take it
I was kind of surprised to see we won but maybe I should not have been Purdue has not been playing well and it was a home game.

As were his free throws. He was the guy that seemed to be refusing to lose the game.

I'm glad to have been wrong about Dorn......and it appears that he might have the 'clutch' gene. The play I liked best was when he took it to the basket. If he & Wilkerson will utilize the shot fake and get the basket with more frequency, it will open up DeVries for more open jumpers....
The other big change last night....better shot selection from Wilkerson and, especially, DeVries. No settling for long distance 3s early in the clock.
The biggest concern I have with DeVries game coaching is the tendency to lose big leads. He talked in the post-game PC about Enright making a similar big 3 pointer in a game at Drake when they lost a 26 point lead against ISU. Part of it relates to their reliance on 3s generally. But disciplined shot selection is necessary......they can't get too cocky when shots are going down........
