Sam Alexis will replace Reed Bailey in the starting lineup tonight.
I am here at SSAH. Fernando Mendoza had his Q&A before the game. Now getting ready for hoops. Balconies are maybe 1/4 full, lower bowl decently full, but not the same buzz as usual for a conference opener with students
For those that did not read the Candy Stripe Scoop preview...Penn State does a really nice job of not turning the ball over. They are led by a really good freshman guard (Mingo) and are 8-1 but Indiana will be the best opponent they have faced thus far, by a fairly wide margin.
So, Sam Alexis into the starting lineup and I'd expect to see more of Nick Dorn. Jasai Miles is not with the team tonight (believed to be illness) so maybe Aleksa Ristic will get a few minutes as well? I think a nice start is critical for Indiana tonight...they need some confidence and the crowd will need to some positive play early to get into this one.
