@spartans9312 Nothing odd about it. I thought it was over and I had other things to do.

I'm not one of those "true" fans Leal talked about.

You just seem to live and die with the program. Constantly complaining after a loss. It just seemed odd not to see the end based on your posting history. Carry on

I've watched less than 200 minutes of game time this season. Doesn't seem like a live-and-die-with situation.

You are one of the top 3 posters when it comes to bitching about a loss…and you’ve watched 200 minutes total?

Odd behavior…

Actually, I completely agree with you. It is indeed odd behavior for someone who's "meh" about IU hoops to post so much.

Thanks for opening my eyes to the time I've wasted.

So does that mean we get to see less of your bitching? Please?

@openwheel Not sure what changed, but something did...the eye test proves it.  Maybe the gang woke up to the reality of the B10 after not being here before?  Maybe it's taken this long for the guys to gel?  Nick Dorn's emergence?  So many variables, but the result is all I care about.  I'll be honest...I've watched most of every game this year.  After the MSU and UM games (and perhaps the Minnesota game lol) I said "no more unless it's convenient". PU wasn't convenient but I made time because it's PU...tonight wasn't convenient either but I made time.  Perhaps I'm still just a die-hard after all lol.

The last two games have gotten a lot of folks invested emotionally again. With football over, these two games had a lot of curious observers

Did not see either game I do not have peacock. I can afford it but was not going to join to see a few games when I am already busy with my kids team and was not sure how this team would be. Good to see they won. I am still probably not that excited yet simply because of the last 25 years and I invested so much into games even during archie and crean and kind of just got let down so much its hard to get super excited yet. I guess people can call me a hater but if I did care at all i would not even bother to post. And I will admit with football now so good it made it easier not to care as much as I used too. For me next year will be crucial to see if we are going to be a just get int the tourney team or a team that can actually make the second weekend like we should be doing at IU

@arioznahoosier4554 Next game is on Peacock as well, but they’ve been airing in NBCSports Network on YTTV and other services.

I canceled Peacock 3 weeks ago to switch to Youtube TV. I havent missed a game. Todays was on NBC Sport, cant remember which on Rutgers was on, but I was trying to decide whether Id buy a month or two of Peacock again for these games, but typed the game into youtube TV search and it was on a channel.

@thehoosierhuddle…..I understand….I wasn’t being critical. Just seems like someone in the room would’ve asked. It was obvious we should have given the kid hit the shot with 1.1 left on the clock. IMO under 10 seconds you always foul.

@thenickeldimer whatever Coach’s philosophy is, is what they should have done.  One thing to remember about IU…not the biggest or longest team, so securing the rebound on the free throw miss is probably a concern, when considering fouling in that situation.  And I believe Bailey was fouled out already, so no opportunity to put Bailey and Alexis in to get the rebound.

@iunorth….I think Bailey fouled out in the first OT….I agree about our team, but I think odds are better at securing a rebound on a missed ft than giving up a 3 to tie the score.

@thenickeldimer I haven’t seen it yet.  But I do know there’s been talk with the new continuation rules that many coaches have re thought their stances on fouling in these situations.

Ive always been a fouling guy, myself, in those situations.  But I know there’s a lot of coaches that don’t.

The fouling strategy makes perfect sense, but it isn't without risk; it brings a potential loss into the equation (made FT, miss, offensive rebound, 3FG). I'm no coach, but I'd trust the defense to make a stop. I applaud the decision not to foul.

Wish granted.

You'll definitely see less bitching on the group board, but I'll be sure to personally DM you my thoughts about DeVries and IU hoops ... often.
