I'm curious as to how the PT situation is going to turn out . I would think that there will be at least a couple of guys who will end up being displeased fairly early on....
I think the trio of Wilkerson, Conerway, and Devries will all get around 30M/game. My guess would be that Enright will eat into Conerway's time just a little and it will look something like this:
Wilkerson....30M
DeVries.......30m
Conerway....28M
I feel like Shipley will find be a little more challenged translating his game to the next level than the above 3.....that there will be games when he's physically overmatched, and that we'll see more of Alexis in those situations. I think Alexis will end up being a valuable guy to this team. Also, Conerway and Shipley both like having the ball in their hands. So I see Shipley and Enright playing together quite a bit. I also see Miles playing alongside Shipley some to add rebounding and D.
Shipley.....23M
Alexis.......23M
Enright.....12M
Miles........10M
I know some folks really see Dorn as a potential breakout guy. I see he and Sisley as competing for time as options for the Wilkerson & Devries roles. I have the feeling that Sisley will prove to be the more well rounded player, and probably the one who can better adapt to his situation.
Sisley........14M
Dorn.........10M
I really like Josh Harris's potential and Ristic's game but both will be adjusting. I see Acimovic as the #12 guy. I do hope he gets some time against the cupcakes early in the year so he can be a better option later if Alexis has to miss any time. Drake can't be thrilled with Ristic's addition.
Harris......7M
Ristic.......5M
Acimovis..4M
Drake......4M

Good thoughts
Could prove he be fairly spot on. I’m a little bullish on Alexis - I think he may be pretty damn good.
Shipley = Reed Bailey?
I generally have difficulty projecting early season line-ups as my guesses are usually wrong. The coaches many times surprise me with the guys they put out on the court. I do agree that DeVries, Conerway and Wilkerson are the three best players on the team and barring injuries should see the most time on the court.
I have lower expectations for Enright. Never been all that high on him. He looks OK, but I don't see him being good in the B1g if he is expected to have the ball in his hands. We have others, so not sure he needs to be on the floor a ton in that role. If he's a great shooter and we can set him up, sure.
Edit, I see OP didn't have him with many minutes, I thought it had him as one of the main guys in the 20s. I agree he'll be a role player, but he'll probably get a bit more than 12. 15-18ish.
We need Alexis to be a stud.
I think the "big 3" you mentioned will probably lead in minutes. I think Bailey and Alexis will also be considered main rotation guys, and will play a lot of minutes as well.
After that, I think its pretty difficult to predict. But I love that there are so many solid, versatile options for CDD to go with.
Enright might not get a ton of minutes, but he'll be a reliable, consistent presence in every game. The wing rotation behind Wilkerson and DeVries will be interesting. Miles, Dorn, Ritsic, Drake... Different types of players, hopefully that allows CDD to matchup well, and also exploit matchups where he sees potential advantages.
Sisley and Harris should provide solid support minutes.
August 18th guess... 200 minutes in a closely contested, important game...
DeVries...32
Conerway...30
Wilkerson...30
Alexis...24
Bailey...24
Dorn...18
Enright...16
Miles...14
I see this as the main rotation... guys like Sisley and Harris will play in every game, and their minutes will ebb and flow based off matchups, foul trouble, etc... The foreign guys, just don't know enough about them yet to make any sort of prediction. Other than Ritsic did get meaningful minutes in PR, after only a few practices. And it seemed like he was in the game late in both Mega games...might mean something? Might not. And then no idea with Drake yet. We might have a need for a multi purpose ball handler, like him, depending on game and situation?
If guys like Dorn, Miles, Harris, Sisley, break through and are better than many are expecting (versus the top guys), I think it probably just expands the main rotation a little bit, and then evens the minutes out. That would be an incredible thing for our program, if it were to happen, as all those guys have eligibility to come back next year.
@iunorth I agree, Enright will be a key contributor, whether off the bench or as a starter alongside Conerway. I think he started all 3 games in PR. I think he's a security blanket: CDD knows what he'll get there, and that he knows the system, etc... The development of Ricsic or Drake might eat into his minutes a bit, but I'll be surprised if he doesn't average around 15mpg.
@pryght Yes....not sure Shipley is/was, but at least I was consistent.
@mushroomgod Its kinda weird I immediately knew who you were talking about...

And since I don't know who in the hell any of these players are or anything about them, I figured this Shipley was just one of the half dozen names that haven't yet registered in my addled brain.
