I think he said the quiet part out loud about our lack of post play, starting at the 6:30 mark of the postgame presser. Good for him to admit that he needed to adapt. Hopefully, that carries over into recruiting more size next year.

@hooky I think we got the coach right, now need the dudes. I like what I’m seeing rn, hopefully IU can keep the momentum.

He finally get's it.
“That’s the number one thing where we need to really build that depth is on the interior at those four and five spots. The size and physicality is a lot different.”
“I think the biggest thing that we took from this year, even looking back at last year, is the bigs at the four and five spot, the size and the girth and just the physicality is a lot different"

@hooky how about a PG, how about athletic wings. I’m not convinced he gets anything.

I heard Enright is petitioning for another year.

Gawd I am glad we are past the "COVID year" and we need to get back to strictly 5 years to play 4. Reach either of those limits and you're done. Time to move on with your life. Your illness, constant injuries, anxiety, unplanned fatherhood, whatever should all be factored in to that 5 year limit.

What about Bailey? Definitely need them both back.
That's absolutely a duo you could build a contender around.

Wasn't run it back Leal trying to get a sixth year. I am so glad he did not.

It is not really a " lightbulb " moment anyone can see you need bigs in the big ten. I would certainly hope a dude making 5 million a year could also see. I am not go giving him props for seeing the obvious the proof will be on the court.

He obviously didn't see.
I just hope we don't see another year like this one next season. That's the whole point of the original post, not to "give him props".

Which is a huge red flag imo. He is a top four big ten paid coach he said know these things going in.
@arioznahoosier4554 Who said he knew this going in? Did he? Did Dolson assume it? Based on what?
