Look for this game to be another struggle for IU.  Minny is playing better lately and I believe is a better team than Northwestern.

@uncleter We're kind of down to "it"... at this point, for this team and this season.  Obviously they should have taken care of business in any number of their previous games.  But they're basically now in tournament mode.  A loss tonight, and the season is essentially over.  A win, and it would be a solid win, and there's some mojo and good vibes heading into the game in Columbus.

On paper, Minny is a team we should matchup fairly well against.  But so was Northwestern.  We controlled 3/4 of that NW game, but obviously fell apart and gave it all up at the end.

But its pretty simple, at this point, and there isn't much comparing or analysis needed.  If we lose to Minny, its the final piece of evidence that this team isn't an NCAA tourney caliber team.  And it'll be another bad piece of evidence that heavily tilts this season towards being a failure.

A win doesn't do anything dramatically great.  But it does set us up to finish strong, and salvage some good things to end the season.

+3.5 vs Spartans was ridiculously low. This number looks a bit high.

We had a couple wins (UCLA, Wisconsin(?) ) where we won tough games by playing hard all the way to the end. Then we had Northwestern. We need the tough team! Although didn't we blow leads in those games, can't remember.

Go Hoosiers!

Minnesota doesn't have a Martinelli who can take over the game. Hoosiers by 7+.

I won't be watching. I'm not optimistic. Season ended with the NW loss in my book. I have written off any hope of making the tournament. I realize it's still a theoretical possibility but I don't expect it. This team can play well in moments, but the body of work is what it is.

I've had decent success betting IU games this season, but I'm not touching this one. I can see Minnesota coming out victorious, but I can also see IU getting hot and winning comfortably.

Sisley +/- 0.5 minutes.

That's not a real prop bet, but it wouldn't be outrageous if it were.

@ams66 I'll probably be flipping back and forth between the game and "Love is Blind." The sad thing is, I'm not even joking. It's tough to watch a 40-minute game when IU rarely plays 40 minutes.

I remember when I planned my day around IU games, and would be dejected for 48 hours if they lost. These days, I rarely watch a full game, and, if they lose, I'll probably just say, "Well, shucks."

My fandom is not conditional, but my level of fandom is. I'm guessing there are more than a few who think that way.

@gthomas Yeah I'd watch if I could, just have a conflict at that time and I'm not rearranging my plans to watch this game. I'll probably keep tabs on the score on my phone.

I would think this is a game IU should win but who knows Minnesota almost won at Wisconsin with seven players and played well at Michigan.

I watched about 30 minutes of the Michigan State game but I doubt I will watch this one its an early game so I will be busy. Maybe will turn it on in the second half if it is close. WE literally maybe only have three games left if we miss the NCAA and turn down the NIT.

Purdue also..........crazy that in even our best wins we blew big leads.  We haven't beaten a good team all year where we haven't also blown a big lead.

Good point......I'll say IU by 5-7 points.
