@ams66 What tournament? The NIT? LOL….IMO this team is not getting in the NCAA tournament. They would have to win out or win the B10 tournament! Love the positive thinking but this team isn’t talented enough!
I didn't think we'd beat Michigan but thought we'd at least start with some sense of urgency and energy. Instead it was a shambles. I have no idea what to expect at Rutgers. We haven't won in Piscataway since 2018.
@thenickeldimer Agree it's very unlikely but probably still theoretically possible. Don't mistake that for optimism.

I think the tourney is out the window but given we probably lose to purdue at home a game you need to win or you go 3-7. A few weeks ago I would of said this was a game they should win but its probably a toss up now.
McCollum only beat Rutgers by 6 at home, after smoking us on the road.

Or play everyone with a year or more remaining. May as well get into 'there's always next year' mode. Unless he can win the B1g Ten tourney.

Kinda stinks, but I actually think any win tonight is a pretty big win for us. Rutgers has played some other teams tough, and winning at the RAC is often not easy, for anyone. We will have to actually play well, to beat them. And we haven't been playing well, overall, of late.
Yet another game I'll be missing while at a high school game. If my life depended on picking a winner tonight, I think I'd actually pick Rutgers. Hope I'm wrong. If we play well, we can blow them out. Been a while since we've seen "well" though from this group, at least for more than half the game or so.

One thing I am almost certain of is IU will never win the big ten tourney. We say the same thing every year but we have never won it in 27 years. In fact I think we only made the final once in 27 years.
