Not by anybody who follows this.
Last year's team had zero shot of getting in. NET was in the 50s.
I'll pay more attention to IU's NET come March. It's tourney-level now, but significant movement is possible ... in either direction.
Ohio State is currently 15-8 and 7-6 in the B1G.
Their upcoming games are:
(H) USC
(N) Virginia
(H) Wisconsin
(A) MSU
(A) Iowa
(H) Purdue
(A) Penn State
(H) IU
Looks pretty brutal. Prior to the IU game, I wouldn't be surprised if they lost 5 of their 7 games.
Would First 4 be that bad. Usually isn't that 12 seeds for the Power conference teams? I wouldn't care if they have to play an extra game if they are trying to get thru 4/5 seeds to get to the Sweet 16.
I’m just thankful we dodged the BM coaching hire- dude cannot even win vs Maryland!Ten wins doesn't guarantee anything, so it's likely the OSU game will have massive implications for both, as @hoosiers94 said. Hell, it could be a de facto elimination game (BTT results depending).Man, I hope not. If IU can get to 10 Big Ten wins before that it’d be great. We’ll see though. A bunch of games left.
I hear ya. All McCollum can do is punk IU on its home court.I’m just thankful we dodged the BM coaching hire- dude cannot even win vs Maryland!
@surjay I miss the days when the Big Ten was ten teams and you played everyone home and home and the conference champion was based on that. Sure you could get ties but at least everyone was ranked on an objective basis.
I saw where Dusty at Michigan said Michigan and MSU should always play twice/year. I agree and so should IU/Purdue; UCLA/USC; Oregon/Washington; Illinois/NW; Iowa/Nebraska; Minnesota/Wisconsin; OSU/PSU; Rutgers/MD

I am surprised that Iowa is not doing a little better. I looked at their stats and I think the reason is that 2 players are not having the impact I expected from them--Cooper Koch, who was a fairly highly regarded 6'8" in-state soph, and Alvaro Folgueiras, a 6'9" transfer from Robert Morris of the Horizon League, whose #s are well down from what those of last year.
I don't understand the context here. Why would he say that? It's already happening...as are the games you mentioned.@surjay I miss the days when the Big Ten was ten teams and you played everyone home and home and the conference champion was based on that. they are decent , but what would they be if Stirtz hadn’t come with BC? Kid is good and carries that teamI hear ya. All McCollum can do is punk IU on its home court.I’m just thankful we dodged the BM coaching hire- dude cannot even win vs Maryland!

@gthomas then get an ass kicking by the worst team in the league! If that happened here oh my! Terms were 12.5 dogs
Oh
To mean a lot to both teams.
i think so too
iirc it came down to a "play in game" with osu a few seasons back
game was at home and we laid a giant turd at center court
hope this yr is different

We can cut down the nets anyway, can't we?
