20-10 type of team. All the talent in the world but no coaching. I watch all of their games every year and I hate to say it, but Brad Underwood doesn't seem like a good coach to me.
Teams that move the ball and move themselves will shred Illinois.
You heard it here first, jerky boys!
They sure couldn't guard Alabama very well. They're pretty good though. I think their guard play will falter though, when they play elite level teams. They have a ceiling on what they can likely do, as a result. Like Underwood often has.
@iunorth Right. As talented and heralded as they've been in recent years what have they actually ever done? The Elite 8 was a great run, but they also had a force of nature in Terrance Shannon, Jr. Otherwise, they always bow out early. They have great talent and they're deep, but just don't ever put it together.
@seyton Stojakovic and Boswell are good. But collectively, I just don't see their backcourt at the same level as many of the other top 10 level teams I've seen play thus far. And while it does seem like there's a trend with elite teams stocking up on height and length... gotta have a stable of elite guards to do special things in today's college bball.

I've never thought much about BU. 1 Elite 8 which is the only time he's ever been past the 2nd round in his career. Already in his 60s.
