Scheduled for July 30th.

I've had the opportunity to watch him play a few times, including against my son's high school.  This is the kind of kid you guys would love.  He's super smooth and effortlessly scores at all three levels (as they say these days).  When I say effortless, I mean that you never know he's getting a lot of points until you look up at half time and he's got 20 - or at the end of the game and he's got 31.  He never "looks for his".  He absolutely lets the game come to him and takes what's available within the system of his offense.  He's never pounding the ball.  He's moving and cutting.  He's moving the ball and himself.  He plays hard on defense.  He doesn't pound his chest or mean mug or any of that crap - he's all business and a great teammate.  He makes his team better and he and they win. They (Bolingbrook) also had the Pettigrew brothers (6-7 senior and Valpo commit JT and 6-4 freshman Brady, no. 15 in 2028 class)

His freshman year they went 27-5 and were a #2 seed (out of 16) and lost to #3 Oswego East in the Sectional Semi-Final (in Illinois this is the third round or round of 32) 63-62.

Last year they were 29-5 and the top seed in their sectional and were again upset in the Sectional Semi-Final, this time by #4 Downers Grove North 29-26.

EDIT:  I've only seen Thompson as a 2-guard - not a point.  Bolingbrook has a real nice PG named Trey Brost (coach's son) who handled the primary ball handling.

@seyton Correct me if I am wrong but Davion Thompson is now going to be playing for Link Academy. Rod Clark has connections to that school and that opens the door for IU in this recruitment.

@tjinman1987 You're welcome.  And, yes, you are correct.  Thompson will be at Link Academy in Missouri next year.
