From an IU perspective-
Is this a disaster in the making or a blessing in disguise? (You know what I’m referring to).
Penn st ?
@hoosiers94 Yeah. For what it’s worth, if this holds, I think our odds of making the CFP will probably increase exponentially. Just my opinion, of course.
Probably not good. Weakens our schedule. Though maybe it takes out our competition for the playoff and that is a good thing?
Of course it would also make that game in State College much less “house money” and much more “must win”. Not sure I like that. At all…
If PSU loses this one and they probably lose at OSU… they’re out regardless of our game.
At Iowa is no gimme for them either assuming Iowa’s QB is back…
If they take 4 Big10 teams again (no guarantee), IU would need its competition for a 3 or 4 spot eliminated. Penn State is clearly one of those teams. IU absolutely has to be undefeated at home and cannot lose on the road to Maryland or Purdue. Michigan looks good. Maryland is scary at home. A lot of it is about momentum at different stages in the season. They have a game on the road and then a bye before they play us. Their schedule is not particularly hard and don’t be surprised if they contend for a playoff spot with potentially 2 losses. The don’t play Oregon or OSU or Penn State. They do host IU and Michigan and play at Illinois. Those are the Terps key games.
EDIT: I can just erase what I said about Maryland. They had to win this game at home. Locksley has talent there but his coaching is underwhelming.
We have some tough games coming up. And I think Penn st losing today if they do makes it a much win there. Which I don't like either.
psu was overrated but
ucla doesn't look like such a gimme anymore
I guess it was Tino. 🙁
Iamaleava scrambling off the drop backs over and over.
I am really torn on this. On one hand I’m rooting for ucla, but on the other it could have an impact on how we are viewed if we lose that game. Penn St will be in playoff mode by that point when we play them. I’m not sure if ucla winning is a good thing for IU, but I can’t help but to root for an upset.

screw it
Franklin is a douche and we don't want to back in anyway
go bruins
I was all for ucla going for it on 4th until they didn’t make it. Should have punted.
