We just went undefeated and don't know exactly how. Its hard to look at any future schedule and think we won't be favored in most games we play. haha  I imagine there is a loss or two in there because we will be everyone's super bowl next season......but I still like our chances.

The real question is, do we put 100 on the board against PU in Bloomington?

we'll have the advantage of being ranked highly at the beginning of next season

beat o$u in btown  10/17 and we should be looking good

There look to be four objectively tough games on the schedule- Ohio State, USC, @Michigan, and @Washington.

Minnesota and Northwestern aren’t pushovers but a halfway decent team should beat them at home.

I think we got everybody's best shot this yr.

there was no flying under the radar

maybe o$u took us for granted (for sure their obnoxious fans did)

@drjb

North Texas: 96-0
Howard: 96-0
WKU: 96-7 (they always play us hard)
Ohio State: 96-0 (Cig said they suck)
Minnesota: 96-0
Northwestern: 96-0
Purdue: 80-0 (pity enters the equation)
USC: 96-0
Michigan: 96-0 (Cig said they suck)
Nebraska: 96-0
Rutgers: 96-0
Washington: 96-0

For those keeping track at home, that is a score differential of 1,136 to 7. We score 12 touchdowns per game (with every two pointer converted) with the exception of Purdue. We score 10 touchdowns against them out of pity, which Purdue will be more angry at than if we beat them by 100. WKU scores a TD against us as we always have great games against them. They come out firing in 2026 when our 6th stringers are in.

I thought we'd go 8-4 this past year, and we went 12-0, so next year I'll say 10-2.  That way, we will somehow get 14 wins in our first 12 games.  If there's a way, Cig will find it!  Lol

Awesome getting Ohio State at home, and Michigan at the BS House.

Ohio State so we can whip them again and people will realize a big part of our last loss to them was the road environment.

Michigan, because Cig gets to again say, * This team has never played here! * when asked about not winning there since 1967 . And then beat them there.

@drjb -, Yeah, i agree.  I don't think anyone overlooked us but now we're THE team to beat.  There will be a new mystique.... sell out crowds, College GameDay following us around.  The aura certainly went up as the season went on and that was proven by the reactions of Iowa and Penn State fans but neither of them thought we were truly going to end at the top of the mountain.

Only OSU, UM and USC have won titles since 1998. Penn State won in 1986.  Nebraska won in 97 Washington in 91, like USC in 04, all were pre-B1G.  IU is on quite the pedestal now.
