Obviously more a big deal in football at this team of year (which is why I am posting here) but has IU ever been undefeated in men’s football and basketball through November? The great 1967 football team lost one game in November (MN) and the bball team didn’t start play until December.

1945. The football team was 9-0-1 (that's still undefeated) and bball season had not started yet.
Otherwise, this is a first, and it's really all down to the football team.
