-Illinois- Luke Altmeyer
-INDIANA- Elijah Sarratt
New QB? Should be no problem for the likes of Elijah Sarratt. The rising senior is quickly becoming one of the most reliable receivers in the Big Ten. This season with Fernando Mendoza at the helm, must be no different. In 2024, he tied for 10th overall on Indiana's receiving yardage (957) & receiving TDs (8). If his rapport with Mendoza is anything like it was with Rourke, his stats could skyrocket yet again this season. Look out for the man they call "Waffle House".

BEAT PURDUE
Christopher went out on a limb with some of these choices.
Is it wrong to say our top offensive player is Carter Smith? I’m arguing with myself now just thinking of it as Mendoza and Sarrat are very very good, but Smith is one of the best tackles this program has ever had…

Right, there could be several that deserve mentioning.
@evanalvarez8 it is nice to see a deserving guy in the trenches get some recognition.
@evanalvarez8 no...I'm a lover of the Big Uglies myself. You can NEVER have too many of them.
